How do I request a book through CLICS?
Answer
Sign in to OneSearch, our library catalog, in the upper right hand corner, using your CUNY single login credentials (first.lastXX@login.cuny.edu).
Search for the book you would like to request by title, author, or subject. You can search in all CUNY libraries by selecting All CUNY, or expand your search to CUNY + SUNY libraries.
From the search results list, click on the TITLE of the item.
Under GET IT, click REQUEST. Note: do not choose REQUEST VIA ILL.
Fill out the REQUEST form. The first two fields are required.
- Pickup Institution: The City College of New York
- Pickup Location: Cohen Library
- Do not choose any other CCNY library location. All CLICS are routed through Cohen Library.
- Loan Length and Date are optional, feel free to leave blank
Submit your REQUEST.
You will be notified via email when your book is ready to be picked up.
