What is CLICS?

The CUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Service (CLICS) allows students, staff and faculty in good library standing to borrow materials from libraries within the CUNY and SUNY systems.
Most books arrive within 3–5 business days. You will be notified via your City College email account.
Requests
- You can request regular circulating books from CUNY and SUNY libraries.
- Items you CANNOT request:
- Oversized
- Reserves/closed stacks
- Music scores
- DVDs/CD-ROMs
- Journals, reference material, archives, special collections or master's theses.
Renewals
- Renewals vary by campus; usually, renewals are allowed if the book is not already overdue or if there isn't another patron requesting the book.
- Circulation and overdue fine policies of the lending library apply.
- Renewals can be made through your online library account.
